I am Shakr : Producer, DJ and Sound Explorer. Melodic Nomad® was born of this desire: making sound a passport.

Not just a musical project. A philosophy of movement. Not just a musical project. Not a label. Not a trend. But a way to live music and explore the world through its sounds.

A philosophy before being a style

Melodic Nomad is the vision that guides everything I create. Through my music, I seek to connect cultures through beat, to make live instruments dialogue with electronic textures, to transform groove into universal language.

I mix organic house, Afro house, melodic house and influences of the world. I sample voices, rhythms, sound fragments from yesterday like today, known or unexpected to give them a new trajectory. But Melodic Nomad doesn't stop at the studio. The concept extends through:

A community on the move : enthusiasts who choose to listen differently, to understand before consuming, to feel before judging. Each format continues the same course: making sound a compass. It's not a product. It's a living movement.

Sound foundations

Melodic Nomad is based on three pillars that structure my signature:

Emotion : melody as a universal language, able to touch before explaining.

Culture : roots, stories, influences that give depth to sounds.

Vibration : electronic energy, groove, movement that makes the bodies dance.

In my productions, a bass house can meet a traditional song, soul sample, tribal rhythm or organic texture. It is in this encounter that my sound universe arises: a groovy sound, organic and vibrant both club and introspective.

State of mind

To be Melodic Nomad is not to follow a trend. It's refusing musical boundaries. It's listening before you produce. Understand before sampling. Feel before mixing.

I think music is a free territory. A space where the North and the South meet without translation. Melodic Nomad is not a name. It's a direction.
