Shakr

Artist • Produce • Storyteller • Melodic Nomad

SHAKR is a Belgian artist and producer who explores the world through music, encounters and storytelling. At the crossroads of electronic music, organic house, world music influences and musical documentary, he built a universe where every creation became an invitation to travel. Through its project The World Tour in 80 Beats, SHAKR meets the artists, cultures and musical scenes of the world to understand the stories behind the sounds. His productions combine organic grooves, electronic textures, sampled voices, funk influences, soul, Afro house and world music. A creator of the concept Melodic Nomad, he also developed 100 Faces / 100 Remixes, an artistic project linking photography, human encounters and personalized musical creation. His ambition is simple: to use music as a passport between cultures and tell stories that bring together.
